About Czech Culture and Crew:

Students have a spectacular vantage point to get to know Prague--via the Vltava River from a boat. While the mornings are spent on the river in preparation for an international tournament, students also work with a handicap crew program. This is a great experience for rowers and non-rowers alike!

  • Prerequisite: Swimming test
    • Open to all students with an interest in rowing
  • Financial Aid: Need-based aid may be available
  • Program Directors: Richard Orwig, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Information Systems; James Grose, Crew Coach
About GO Short:

Through intentional programming, students make the most of their short-term study abroad on GO Short programs. You will study away with Susquehanna faculty/staff leading a small group of Susquehanna classmates, all of whom have participated in the program’s preparation (i.e. GO Prep) course in the semester prior to departure. After an intensive, active program, there is a reflection course for the program to optimize your cross-cultural learning. As these programs run during winter or summer breaks and are 2-6 weeks, they are great opportunities for students to study away without committing to a full semester.
