Student Quotes:
The Go French Language and Culture program in Aix - en - Provence is an extremely active program and you have the opportunity to meet a lot of people. This program gives you the opportunity to meet locals on a daily basis and you are constantly interacting with different people. The best part is that you also have the opportunity to either stay in your group or travel by yourself. The difference in this program from other GO Short programs is the amount of independence you have. Another key point in this program is that you don't have to know French to be successful. Aix, while it is a relatively small city, it has a lot of tourism and the shops and restaurants are really welcoming as long as you make the effort to communicate with them. I recommend this program to anyone in any major. It is a great six weeks in a beautiful city. --Emma Kirbis, 2017 program
Many people told me that when I'm in college that I should studying abroad. I never really got the concept why, until now. Having the opportunity to study in Aix en Provence, France for 6 weeks has changed me into a better individual. It helped change my worldview, sense of confidence, direction in life, made me more independent, improved my language abilities, and even my educational drive. Studying abroad is the single most effective way of changing how we view the world. Ça en vaut la peine! --Julie Vann, 2017 program
My GO Short program to Aix-en-Provence, France allowed me to have the best of both worlds: the cultural and language immersion of a semester long program without getting behind in my major. Studying abroad in a longer summer session gave me the opportunity to travel a bit on my own through Europe, and to really gain a sense of independence while living in a foreign country. --Krista White, 2017 program

About GO Short
Through intentional programming, students make the most of their short-term study abroad on GO Short programs. You will study away with Susquehanna faculty/staff leading a small group of Susquehanna classmates, all of whom have participated in the program’s preparation (i.e. GO Prep) course in the semester prior to departure. After an intensive, active program, there is a reflection course for the program to optimize your cross-cultural learning. As these programs run during winter or summer breaks and are 2-6 weeks, they are great opportunities for students to study away without committing to a full semester.
