About British Law, Commerce and Culture:
Students who participate in British Law, Commerce, and Culture will use London as a “home base” and immerse themselves in a multifaceted program that navigates and explores the bustling and diverse city life of London, the origins of England’s “ancient universities,” and the tranquil English countryside. Participants will experience numerous facets of British culture: legal systems, prominent businesses, sports, fine arts, and social traditions.
- After 18 days abroad, I am a more independent, adventurous, and globally aware version of myself with fantastic fellow BLC members and faculty mentors that have become family to share these memories. --Courtney Conrad, 2016 Program
- I also achieved personal growth while I was abroad because I was given a greater sense of independence in terms of figuring out how to navigate through an unfamiliar area and also learning what it is like to live on your own. --Jada Haniboe, 2016 Program
About GO Short:
Through intentional programming, students make the most of their short-term study abroad on GO Short programs. You will study away with Susquehanna faculty/staff leading a small group of Susquehanna classmates, all of whom have participated in the program’s preparation (i.e. GO Prep) course in the semester prior to departure. After an intensive, active program, there is a reflection course for the program to optimize your cross-cultural learning. As these programs run during winter or summer breaks and are 2-6 weeks, they are great opportunities for students to study away without committing to a full semester.
