GO Long programs allow you to fulfill your GO requirement by studying at an institution overseas for an entire semester. During your semester abroad, you will take courses that transfer to a requirement for your major or minor, central curriculum requirements or elective credits. Immerse yourself in a new culture by living with a local family, completing an internship, studying among local students, and more!

Many GO Long programs require a student visa to stay in the country for the full semester of study. This link provides some general information as visa requirements vary by country - students should be in contact with their study abroad program/host university about specifics and refer to the host country's embassy information.

GO Long programs do have capacity limits, which vary depending on the semester and overall cohort size.  In cases where the number of approved applicants exceeds the capacity in a particular GO Long program, we work closely with students on placement into alternative choice programs.

Applications for next academic year (both Fall and Spring semesters) will be open October 15-November 15
